Background of the DHL-MyPillow Agreement
It is a fact that the collaboration between DHL and MyPillow started way back in 2015, letting DHL take care of the shipping needs of MyPillow with an annual deal of 4 million dollars, you know/ And sure, it was DHL, that was the one who had to make sure that the MyPillow products got to the customers on time. Unfortunately, in the meantime, a lot of money matters came up, and MyPillow could not pay. In order to clear the debts, the two companies made a new agreement in May 2023. As part of this deal, MyPillow was to pay $775,000 in twenty-four monthly installments, starting from April 2024. MyPillow, on the other end, succeeded only in making two payments prior to fully stopping paying.
Nature Of This MyPillow DHL Lawsuit
The lawsuit that has been filed by the courier company DHL is very easy to understand, really. The international company DHL has come up with the allegations that the company MyPillow has not paid an amount of around $800,000 which they owe to them. First of all, MyPillow hasn’t even followed the payment schedule which was a part of the agreement, they were supposed to follow that, you know? And just so you know, the lawsuit was first made on the records in September 2024 at the Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis. Once a beloved figure on Fox News and a constant in the stores of major retailers, the company lost these vital partnerships which directly upset its profit numbers. And just so you know, Lindell also needs to pay $5 million to a tech expert who refuted his claims of election fraud in a court of law. Taken together, these financial pressures are putting a perilous strain on the finances of MyPillow, and the ability of the company to meet its requirements is getting limited.
Mike Lindell’s Response
As you could have guessed it already, Mike Lindell responded to the lawsuit by claiming that he knew nothing about it. Like, he says that MyPillow stopped working with DHL because of problems with its shipment, and he blamed DHL for it, which was the only reason. His statements made in court are also very telling as he admitted that he is broke. His admission that he has nothing but a truck and a house shows how desperate he is financially.
